18/07/15 Terrain bookings
The club has been asked to organise competitions for members of 3 organisations this summer.
The first is for approximately 30 members of Coventry Leofric Lions on Saturday 25th. July. The lions are perhaps the best known national charity fund raising organisation and I look forward to hosting their event. Any help in setting up at 6-45 would be welcome.
Thursday 13th. August sees us welcoming 10-15 members of the 41 club. These are former members of the Round table who retire from Round Table at 40, or 45 depending on the district, and again this is an opportunity to showcase our sport and the club. In this instance 41 Club want to play from 7.00pm and follow the competition with a meal. Alex and John have already offered help for seting up and running their competition but any further help would be welcome.
September 10th. sees the peer support group GUT at the terrain for an afternoon of petanque. This is a regular annual booking and I am pleased to welcome them back this year.
